Dr. Ryan Sellinger DMD

Dr. Sellinger received his DMD status at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and was awarded the University of Pennsylvania Academic Scholarship. He continued his training at New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his specialty certification in Prosthodontics. He is a board qualified Prosthodontist.
Dr. Sellinger has been named by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as “America’s Top Dentist” three years in a row. In addition to this recognition in excellence for his reconstructive dentistry skills and care of his patients, he received the Basil Abrams Quintessence Award in Restorative Dentistry and the Leonard Abrams, DDS Prize in Dental Anatomy and Occlusion. Dr. Sellinger is the chief contributor of clinical cases in the textbook “Clinical Cases in Prosthodontics. This textbook is used to help train other prosthodontic students throughout the country. Additionally Dr. Sellinger is a contributor and editor on “Realself “ a website dedicated to health care, he is also a preferred provider of Invisalign.
Recently Dr. Sellinger was inducted into the exclusive Haute MD Network. When not in private practice, Dr. Sellinger teaches Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry and lectures on aesthetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers and bonding to achieve personalized smiles along with “Modern Conveniences in Dentistry.”
Dr. Sellinger and his wife, Helyce, have a daughter Logan, son Asher and son Kai. Dr. Sellinger played ice hockey growing up, traveling all over the country to games. He now enjoys road cycling and running. Before Logan was born he entered into his first Biathlon; the next race was to welcome Asher. Dr. Sellinger’s greatest pleasure is spending time with Helyce and his three children.
