Invisalign is a means to straighten teeth in the most non-invasive way. Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic aligners which are worn over your teeth to incrementally move the teeth into alignment. The Invisalign aligners are changed every two weeks and are worn throughout the day, but can be removed by the wearer to eat or drink. Patients love this therapy because the Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible and nobody has to know they are having orthodontic therapy.

Am I a candidate for Invisalign?
In order to determine if you are a candidate for Invisalign, impressions are made of you mouth which are scanned into the computer. Based on the doctors instructions the technicians will align the teeth on the computer. Both the doctor and the patient can view the potential end result and determine if Invisalign is the correct means to straightening the teeth. This will also enable us to determine the length of treatment.

Invisalign retainers
Have you been treated with Invisalign? Well, in order to maintain those straight pearly whites, retainers are necessary. Clear aligners are made to fit over your teeth that maintain the tooth position. Typically these are worn after treatment is completed only at night during sleep to ensure that the teeth do not move back to their before treatment position. Molds of your mouth are fabricated and the clear retainers are made while you wait in our office.
