We are directing any staff member who exhibits signs and symptoms of Covid-19 to stay home. Similarly, we ask patients to reschedule their appointment if they are unwell.
We are conducting a short telephone/email triage to assess patients’ risk before coming to the office.
We are rotating our staff, staggering patient appointments, immediately seating patients in treatment rooms, and if possible, asking patients to come unaccompanied, all to minimize the number of people in the office.
There are online paperless forms available.
We have installed physical barriers at the front desk to limit potential infectious transmission between patients and personnel.
We are taking the temperatures of all our patients entering the office. There is hand sanitizer readily available in the waiting room and all of the treatment rooms.
We repeatedly disinfect high touch areas such as chairs, light switches and door knobs with EPA-registered, hospital grade disinfectants.
All treatment rooms and our waiting area are now equipped with specialized UV Air Purification along with Medical Grade Hepa filtration.
We have always taken Universal Precautions when treating patients, which we are supplementing with updated OSHA and CDC guidelines:
All employees will wear additional PPE. All clinicians including hygienists will wear disposable isolation lab coats, N95 or KN95 respirators/surgical masks, face shields, eye protection and gloves.
We are providing patients with masks as they enter the office as needed and asking all patients to wear a mask while in the office when not being treated.
